  • Scientific Name: Echeveria 'Angel Kissed'
  • Common Names: Angel Kissed Echeveria, Hybrid Echeveria
  • Native Region: Cultivar derived from Echeveria species native to Mexico and Central America.

Light Requirements: Prefers bright light to full sun. Provide at least 4–6 hours of direct sunlight daily, ideally from a south- or west-facing window indoors. Insufficient light may cause stretching and loss of compact growth.

Watering Needs: Water deeply only when the soil has dried out completely. Allow excess water to drain fully and avoid letting the plant sit in moisture, as overwatering can lead to root rot. Reduce watering significantly in winter or during dormancy.

Soil Preference: Use a fast-draining cactus or succulent mix. Adding extra perlite, pumice, or coarse sand helps improve drainage and prevents excess moisture around the roots.

How to Fertilize: Fertilize lightly every 6–8 weeks during the growing season (spring through summer) with a diluted cactus or succulent fertilizer. Avoid overfeeding, which can lead to weak or stretched growth.

Hardiness Zone: Suitable for USDA Hardiness Zones 9–11. It prefers warm, dry conditions and should be protected from frost and prolonged cold temperatures.

Pet Safety: Generally considered non-toxic to cats and dogs. Safe to grow around pets.

Additional Care Tips: Echeveria 'Angel Kissed' is valued for its soft, pastel-toned rosettes with delicate pink to peach hues that become more vibrant in bright light or cooler temperatures. Rotate the plant occasionally to maintain even growth and remove dried lower leaves to keep the rosette tidy and discourage pests. Ensure good airflow and avoid water collecting in the center of the rosette to help prevent rot.
